5 star service for 5 star food. Went today for the first time and the food and service were just as I love it. They offer a lot of option that I couldn't decide. I finally decided in the blackened chicken sandwich. It was soooo good. Chicken was perfect. This is going to be one of my top to-go spots for lunch. Service was great also. They checked on us a few times. Will be back soon!!!

Honestly this is the go-to breakfast spot for a classic American breakfast place. Prices were super reasonable, especially for the amount of food we got. As a kosher person I really appreciate the chicken apple sausage!!! And it was yummy. Eggs florentine was decadent and yummy as well. Super quick and helpful service without them being overbearing.

i've been here a couple of times, but only for takeout, so can't really comment on the ambiance and interior. but i will say, the menu is fabulous and has something for everyone...eggs, pancakes, sandwiches, salads, burgers, all the usual comfort food! the last 2 times, i ordered brunch to go; never a wait, tell them what i want, apple pay, and wait a few.... they always tell me 10-15 minutes, but the order is ALWAYS ready in 5ish minutes, my meal in a togo container, napkins, plastic cutlery, butter and jam for my bread...truly exceptional, speedy service! re the food, they always get my order right, which is typically a vegetarian type omelette, swap out the eggs for egg whites, whole wheat toast, and a side of fruit. they are one of the few places who give me a truly vegetarian omelet, no pieces of meat stuck in the omelet (too many other places cross contaminate, so i always get some pork or bacon or sausage in my omelet which is disappointing...but not here!) and the taste is on point, always fresh and delicious. the folks who work here are always friendly. one of these days, i'll definitely need to go inside and actually eat there. but for now, i'm pretty happy with their takeout service and will be coming back again and again...

I was craving chicken and waffles and ended up in this gem after Poppas Dr. appointment. Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff who attended to us rapidly. The music playing was very soothing. Chicken was crunchy juicy and flavorful, his follow up appointment can't come soon enough so I can return lol

Came on a Sunday morning around 10 AM and was easily able to snag a spot without reservations. They have a nice patio They have your standard brunch items. Ordered the biscuits and gravy that comes with eggs (any style) and your choice of sausage or bacon. Jan's omelette: Chicken apple sausage, mushrooms, and avocados. Comes with either country potatoes or hashbrowns. Portions are sizable and flavors were pretty good. if you go in with the expectations of a typical brunch, you won't be disappointed.

It's been a while since I've updated my review and still the same great food and excellent quality ingredients! This time I tried the Broadway Crepes, very filling and perfect for brunching. I added breakfast sausage and poached eggs as sides to the entree. Awesome! The shrimps are nicely sized, not tiny. The crepe is filled with avocado, cheese and shrimps then a light smothering of hollandaise sauce...very good! The eggs were poached nicely. They have the best breakfast sausage around! Excellent quality! Give them a try if you're in Redwood City! Their menu is huge with something for everyone. Cheers!

Date: 8/27/2023 Time: 10:15 AM 67° Sunny I'm a little far from home. I'm in Redwood City, visiting a relative at Kaiser Foundation Hospital. Their cafeteria is closed today. My daughter and I have to go elsewhere to get breakfast. A yelp search results in a few restaurants on Broadway near Jefferson Street. Margarita's, Talk of Broadway, Von's Chicken, May and who knows what else. We found street parking nearby on Jefferson, and within walking distance to restaurant row. I decided on Talk of Broadway. First time here, so I don't know what to expect. However, I like what I see. Broadway is closed off to street traffic. Dining parklets line the street for outdoor dining and there is indoor dining. The restaurant is well lit. The ambiance is comfy and casual. The front counter has at least five to six chairs for those who are dining alone. The wait staff worked quickly, despite being busy. Customers were coming in for their takeout orders. Specialties: breakfast and lunch. I only read the breakfast menu and saw immediately what I wanted - huevos rancheros - my favorite breakfast food. On the beverage side of the menu, they have Arnold Palmer ($5.00). I certainly cannot do without an Arnold Palmer. Eats: huevos rancheros and an Arnold Palmer to wash the food down. Eggs sunnyside up, refried beans, fresh sliced avocado, sour cream with a side of pico de gallo. I told the attentive waiter my breakfast was muy bueno. I wanted to ask for one additional warm corn tortilla to sop up the remaining salsa and refried beans, as in wipe the plate clean of the remaining amount. LOL. However, I asked if they serve nopales on the menu. According to the chef, no they don't serve nopales. Besides being attentive, the waiter was pleasant and engaging in conversation. My daughter paid for the breakfast. I just hope the $10 tip was enough for the service.
